How do I schedule an appointment?
To initiate services, you may call our office directly or complete the referral form available on our website. Once we receive your information, a team member will follow up to assist with next steps and match you with a clinician who best aligns with your needs and goals.

What should I expect at the first session?
The initial session focuses on building rapport and understanding your reasons for seeking support. Your clinician will take time to review your goals, gather relevant background information, and explain our practice policies and confidentiality guidelines. This session is also an opportunity to begin developing a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.

Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes. All clinical services at AnchorPoint Solutions are currently offered via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. This allows us to provide flexible, accessible care to clients throughout the state of Maryland.

How long are therapy sessions?
Most therapy sessions are scheduled for approximately 45 minutes, depending on the nature of the service provided and the client’s individual treatment plan.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly request that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Advance notice supports continuity of care and helps us offer availability to others in need of services. We understand that emergencies may arise and encourage open communication with your clinician regarding any scheduling conflicts.

How does confidentiality work in therapy?

Confidentiality is a core ethical principle in clinical social work practice. All information shared in therapy is kept private and protected in accordance with state and federal laws, as well as professional ethical standards.

However, there are specific circumstances in which confidentiality may be legally breached. These include:

  • When there is a risk of harm to self or others

  • When there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult

  • When records are subpoenaed by a court of law

These exceptions will be reviewed in detail during the intake process to ensure you are fully informed and feel safe in the therapeutic relationship.

Do you offer private pay options?

Yes, we offer private pay options for clients who do not have insurance coverage or prefer not to use insurance for their care.
If you are interested in exploring private pay services and rates, we invite you to contact us directly. We are happy to discuss how we can support your needs and answer any questions you may have.
